My cousins were added to the tree as deceased, but should not have been since they are still alive.

What should I do to remove them?

If you are not the one who created the profiles, mark them to living. Follow the prompts. It takes about 24 hours for the change request to be reviewed and the change to be made. No proof is required, just your word.
