Why when I am in a center on my laptop it ask me if I am a human. It does it when I log into familysearch.org and when I go to other parts of the program. It started this about two months or more ago.

I found out that I still had a VPN that was active, although I had canceled it.

@George Ezell Legge From another's post with a similar concern -

"You keep getting CAPTCHAs frequently because the systems detect unusual or automated traffic from your network or IP address, often triggered by using a VPN, shared public Wi-Fi, browser extensions, malware on your device, or simply searching too quickly/performing many requests in a short time, all signaling potential bot-like activity. To reduce them, try disabling VPNs/extensions, clearing browser data, checking for malware, or resetting your router for a new IP address to signal a fresh start. "

Try these troubleshooting tips to see if any will help.
