Hi there!

Could anybody tell me why images under DGS 109798550 suddenly became unavailable. Not only online, but in FamilySearch centers too, as I was told by a friend who went there.

    What's the name of the collection or record set, please @Igor34799 ?
    There have been some recent changes to various collections. Knowing the name and location may help us get you an answer.

    It is collection 1245, description 3 (was initially marked FS as description 9 by mistake, as I learned), file 199; State archive of Chernivtsi region, now Ukraine. Chernivtsi primaria (city council) birth records 1937 year (back then it was Romania).

    The reference to births from 1937 suggests the DGS may have been retracted for privacy restrictions. In general, births within the last 100 years are no longer viewable.

    @SerraNola Can you assist? Thanks!

    No, it shouldn't be the case. In my country Ukraine, this period is 75 years, not 100. Also restricted records are kept by different institutions and are moved to archives when they become publicly available.

    Restrictions implemented by FamilySearch may differ from those in place in each country.

    I understand. But as far as I learned, this group of images was available online at first and I suspect later available in FS centers. But now it's completely unavailable. Is there a way to understand why it happened and what are the chances to see it one day?

    @Igor34799 I wish I had better news for you! It's clear that FamilySearch privacy guidelines for Ukraine does not include 1937 births. I can't even determine the cut-off year because all 537 films containing birth records from the church office of Bulkovina include years after 1936. All are restricted.
