Hello -

I'm looking for the film or image group numbers for the Catholic Church Dioces records.

This page https://www.familysearch.org/en/wiki/Indiana_Church_Records states

"Roman Catholic

The records of all four Roman Catholic dioceses in Indiana are available on digitized microfilm at the FamilySearch Library. These records include the dioceses of Evansville, Fort Wayne-South Bend, Gary, and Lafayette, plus the Archdiocese of Indianapolis, all to about 1916. They have been digitized and can be used at a FamilySearch Center near you. "

However, I've looked in the Catalog and in the Wiki and I can't find the Film or Image Group Numbers anywhere. I'd like to have that information in hand before I make a trip to my local FamilySearch Center.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks,

Melanie

    Good morning @Melanie3593
I often find searching by keyword or by author an advantage when searching the FS catalog.

For example, searching with Indiana and Catholic in the author field -

    Hope this helps!

@Melanie3593 The wiki statement is true that we have the records but they are not grouped by Diocese in the catalog. Áine's list is probably your best route.
