Good morning.
Could you please review the permissions on this record set? The pop-up indicates that images should be available from home, but when I try to view the DGS, the message changes to available only at the FSC or AL.

The problem is that the assigned permissions on this particular film are a mixed bag (open + no access). The UI for record details follows the “open” part, the viewer enforces the “no-access/FSC or AL only” part. In looking at other films for this collection, it seems they are meant to all be restricted to an FSC or AL.
On your second one I wasn’t able to duplicate the conflicting messages, but this is the same film as your previous example, even though it’s in a different collection. Thus, a conflicting configuration in the permissions string again produces confusing information for the user. I’ll make sure this gets reported.

You know I have no problem dropping by my local FSC to view the records, but not everyone has that easy option.
BTW - on Virginia birth registers from the same collection, sometimes I get the "Due to contract restrictions this feature is disabled" on the download button. I understand that restriction - I'm very accustomed to it with early New Jersey vital record indexes. But, it seems inconsistent on the Virginia births. Some days I'll be able to download from a specific DGS and an hour later, I'll get the restricted message on the same DGS. I'll document some numbers the next time I'm working in Virginia.
