Looking for birth certificate that is likely only accessible in the Salt Lake Library

I am trying to find my grandmother's birth certificate. She was born in Balti, Romania (now Balti, Moldova) on February 22, 1906. Her name at the time was apparently Rachel Schmulewicz. Based on my FamilySearch research, I have identified the following books (or sets of books) that may contain her birth certificate: DGS 4058975 (Film 2328260), possibly item 7, births 1906 (Рождения 1906), and DGS 4058976 (Film 2328261), possibly item 1, births 1906 (Рождения 1906). I understand that these books in the Granite Mountain Vault are digitized but not yet accessible, but that the film copies are accessible at the Salt Lake Library. I am in Chicago. If anyone would happen to be at the Salt Lake Library and can help me look into this, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks in advance! - Larry Aaronson

You might want to try the Free Research Consultation offered by Salt Lake. While providing a copy of the elusive record is not within the scope of the consultation, you could probably get help in determining if the record exists in any of those DGS.

And, I often recommend using Cyndi's List to locate a researcher local to Salt Lake who might be able to help. https://www.cyndislist.com/us/ut/professionals/
Best of luck with the quest!
