Records at a Family Search Center
I appreciate being able to visit a center and have access to records. I recently found original record books that have not been indexed as yet. I would like to know if I'm able to copy to a flash drive or download these to be able to study them and add them to my tree at home. The computers at the center do not seem to allow this. Well, it did allow me to download them onto the library computer but I couldn't save them in anyway.

Some records are restricted from downloading by the terms of the contract between FamilySearch and the record holder/creator. For example, I can view early New Jersey vital records at my FSC or affiliate library, but downloading is disabled.2 -
