is it possible to identify my relatives in Newfoundland. Your map indicates that there are some but I have been unable to identify any.

@BarrieMarch Could you please clarify the context you are asking about? It sounds like you might be talking about Relatives at RootsTech, which involves relatives and a map, but that's just a guess.
If you are talking about Relatives at RootsTech, then you can do the following:
- Go into the Relatives View
- Make sure the Location tab is selected
- In the "Select Location" dropdown, choose Canada
- A dropdown will then appear for the Provinces; in that, choose Newfoundland and Labrador
- The list of relatives below the dropdown should then be filtered to show just your relatives from that province
- You can then expand any of the relatives that are shown by clicking the down arrow (circled in red in the screenshot below) if you want to chat with them or see exactly how you are related.
Here's a screenshot to illustrate what I am talking about. I have 5 cousins in nearby Nova Scotia, but none in Newfoundland, so Newfoundland and Labrador doesn't appear in my Provinces dropdown:

To add to Alan's comments, having living relatives in Newfoundland today does not necessarily indicate an ancestral connection to Newfoundland or Canada. Today's society is far more mobile than in earlier generations.
I have no Canadian roots, but a large number of relatives are listed all over Canada.
