Feature request on this new improved merge?
Could we please add a siblings are a match? Sometimes the same family is listed at the same location on multiple US Census Records. So I just keep atting "Siblings match" in the "other" section.

@SPH4960 This sounds like a good suggestion. Please submit your complete suggestions and ideas on how to make it easier using the Suggestion Submission form.
Please provide as many SPECIFIC details as possible. Remember to include these elements: 1 - SITUATION: Describe the situation or your current experience. Start with the words "When I ..." 2 - NEED: Describe what you want to do. Focus on one need at a time. You can continue with the words "I want to ...‡ 3 - OUTCOME: Describe the desired outcome when you achieve this need. There may be multiple outcomes for a given need. You can use the words "...so I can.... 4 - BENEFIT: When applicable, tell us who will be most impacted by this outcome and why it is important to your work. It's helpful for us when you share how your idea can benefit your work.

I support the suggestion, too. Often we have family groups living together - older siblings with the younger children in their household after the deaths of their parents. With the duplicate profiles created by the census project and other projects, we have merges to make in such situations.

I think the Merge should also allow all immediate family members (those that can be seen on the Details page) to be merged on the same page. So often people create a whole duplicate lineage. So you either end up with duplicate parents, spouses and children cluttering up the individual's Details and have to select each one in turn (and find out that half the time the duplicate is suggested for merge and the other half it is not!) - or - if you deselect the duplicates - they are left hanging in limbo. You can try to copy all the id's & merge them individually but this is very tedious and with complicated families often some get missed off.
So I would like the main merge screen to say at the bottom:
Do you wish to also merge this person's parents? (Tick box per parent).
Do you wish to also merge this person's spouses? (Tick box per spouse).
Do you wish to also merge this person's children? (Tick box per child).
Do you wish to also merge this person's siblings? (Tick box per sibling).
Then each one you select expands into the merge dialogue for that person and you can select the matching person who is attached to the duplicated individual.
THIS WOULD SAVE SO MUCH TIME!!!

It would save time… my only concern is sometimes the extra time helps people realize the merge is actually not a good one. But it would be nice to merge all profiles at the same time once they have been confirmed. Maybe an additional page needs to be added to querry everyone involved in the merge so the researcher can provide the supporting documentation (for example the same family listed at the same house in the US Census 1910 and 1920
