Question about US Census records listed in recent blog post

See https://www.familysearch.org/en/blog/new-records-february-2026. Why are US census records listed? These were available before? Have new records really been added?

There have been some metadata and other errors that crept into existing collections. As those are corrected/updated, I suspect we will see many old existing collections on the "new" list.
Also, now that many collections have been opened to user edits, names and other information may be added that were not in the original indexing.0
