Death certificate — can’t read cause of death
I’m trying to read the cause of death on a brother and sister’s death certificates. His name is Comer Ewing Lankford, ID LY3D-JTD, and her name is Lola Lee Lankford, ID LY3D-2JT. I’ve attached screenshots of the words. It looks like the same word on both of theirs. Maybe it just says “no physician“? Thank you to anyone who can look and tell me!

I just realized I could put screenshots of the words here. Sorry about that and for doing this in 4 different comments.

Good morning @MandiButtrey
It's easier for us to help when we can see the full page and can compare how the writer forms different letters. Looking at a single word in isolation can lead to a false interpretation.

II think "no physician" is correct.

Thank you to @Áine.ní.Donnghaile for the full URL.
Often times, you can find lightly written numeric codes in the area for cause of death. They are a great help when handwriting is poor. These codes are from the International Classification of Diseases listing - found here: http://www.wolfbane.com/icd/index.html
These classifications were updated over the years as you can see from the release dates. In your case, even though the year is 1948, they are using codes from the 1938 list: http://www.wolfbane.com/icd/icd5h.htm
So, in the cases of both Comer and Lola, the code listed is 200C - Other deaths from unknown or unspecified cause
Hope this helps.
