Merged Duplicates Reattached.
Hello Community,
This afternoon/evening (3/12/26), I found numerous duplicates that had been merged over, at least, the past 6 months, suddenly reattached/reemerged, but there is no change in the change logs. That is, there's no evidence in the change logs to show that someone went out of their way to unmerge the profiles, which were clearly duplicates. This has created a huge mess.
Has anyone else noticed this problem? Is something that the tech. people need to deal with?
Thanks,
JPL

@DONE DO WHAT YOU WANT.
Can you share the identifying code (PID) of one or more of the profiles? The only changes that I've seen, without breadcrumbs in the change log, occurred after a series of malicious and destructive changes. Support removed all of the changes and reverted the profiles to their original state.
Have you contacted FS Support?0 -
Hello Aine,
Here are some where I've not made any repairs:
MZB7-D1B
9WZ5-B59
93HC-5C1
This appears to happening only to profiles from an early period, say, early 1600's.
Thanks for responding.

Good morning @DONE DO WHAT YOU WANT.
I would expect those profiles - for famous historical figures - to be Read-Only. I see Notes indicating they have been Read-Only in the past. I'm not Support or Staff; I think official action from FS is required.
@Sam Sulser Could you intervene? I wonder if there may be something in the background of the profiles that needs official action. Thanks.
I believe this note from June 2024 indicates the profile MZB7-D1B was previously Read-Only:
