    Good afternoon. As Graham explained in your other thread, the best place to ask your question is the https://community.familysearch.org/en/group/45-england-research Group.

    The post raised in the England group had been added to an old discussion. I have been advised by a moderator that further comments should be posted here, as that discussion has now been closed. As a moderator has also closed the post Áine references (at Robert Graham Scott — FamilySearch Community ) I will add further details here later this morning.

    @NigelWinn

    I have added detail to the profile you created for Robert Graham Scott (PC6D-L8Q) and have merged this with an earlier created profile for him, which identified his parents. As @Graham Buckell suggested, the 1939 National Register entry was of help in confirming his parents, matching date of birth, etc.

    Incidentally, another Robert Graham Scott was born (at South Shields) in 1927 (see PC5H-F22), so take care another user does not confuse the two. (I have added what detail I could find to the latter, who appears to have died at South Shields in 1969).

    I hope this is of help. If you can't find events on FamilySearch (for records relating to England & Wales) I would always advise to check the GRO and FreeBMD websites.
