Several index entries disappeared after adding a name to one

So I've been trying to improve the index for "San Buenaventura. Bautismos 1616–1696" (Cuautitlán, State of Mexico, Mexico), DGS #  004242082, FHL film 649403. It's one of the AI-generated indexes, and there are various frequent problems:

  • (most serious) completely wrong dates. (The christenings on this film all took place in the 1600s, but many are indexed with dates in the 1800s or 1900s.)
  • missing people, or "Unknown" principal people
  • two people indexed as one person with a longer name (e.g, husband and wife or the two godparents)
  • place-names and fixed terms like "bauticé" ("I baptized") indexed as principals

Just now I was trying to improve the index for image 65 of 373. This is an image where the language switches from Nahuatl (left-hand page and first three entries on right-hand page) to Spanish (last three entries on right-hand page). When I started, there were about 7 or 8 groupings (should be nine total), all with a date in the wrong century, some with missing parents or the wrong person identified as principal.

Earlier today I made some edit to the top-left entry (Antonia), and just now I started from the bottom-right entry ("Magdalena" daughter of "Pedro Caludio" and "Ana Francisca") and started working up. The second entry from the bottom right ("Niqulas") was missing his parents ("Diego Rafael" and "Juana"). But when I saved his mother and refreshed the page, everything except the top-left and bottom-right entries had disappeared!

Are those entries gone for good? Or can they be restored as a better-than-nothing starting-point for the index of that page?

(One other problem I'd like to report: the film title in the old image-viewer is "Bautismos 1759-1772". That's clearly incorrect. The first entry on the first page of the volume, image 5, is dated 1615.)

Your indexing is still there. It's the old "permissions bug" popping up again. It's imperative that users help to improve AI indexing and I hate to see this happening again. Thank you for a detailed description that I can take to engineers.
