DGS #8245978
Hi, it looks like FS has made an engineering error and documents dated 1834 to 1845 (it's 192 to 181 years old) have been blocked to public access for no reason. I've been trying to contact the helpdesk but have received no clear solution. In stead I've been advised to go from one emo or side bar box to another. Such attitude is unacceptable. If FS has taken responsibility to be the organisation who is collecting historical records worldwide and share them with the public than do your part of this assignment. If FS has made mistake admit it and FIX it rather than ignoring it.
There is no law anywhere what would block public access to nearly 200 years old documents.
Below is information providing DGS and Film number of the file in question.
Please address this to the relevant department within FamilySearch and fix the problem ASAP.
Please provide with the back up once this has been done.
Kind regards,
Lelde Purmale

@LeldePurmale I have sent in a metadata correction for this film and once the date range has been set back to 1834-1845, permissions should change on the next update. This process will take at least a few weeks.

Thank you Serra for the update. Would it be possible to get the notification once this has been fixed?
