Film 1792020, Item 6 suddenly restricted after years of availability
Hello:
I noticed tonight that the entire contents of Catalog 695391, Film 1792020, Item 6,DGS 4406766 appear to have been removed from FamilySearch.org. Item 6 covers births, marriages, and deaths for the village of Čertižné from 1886 to 1902: 1886 to 1926: and 1886 to 1914 respectively.
This record collection has been available on FamilySearch.org for a very long time. I am very surprised to see it no longer available. I am seeing an "Image Restricted" message when trying to view any of the contents of 1792020, Item 6 (part of which also constitutes 1792021, Item 1).
Records in this item that are clearly historical and not subject to privacy regulations are being redacted. The only contents of this film that might be subject to Slovak privacy regulations are the very last marriage records in the collection from the year 1926, depending on the day in this current calendar year, which may or may not make them over 100 years old for compliance. This is a single-digit number of records that together constitute less than 0.3% the contents of the entire film - yet all other records from as far removed from the present day as 1886 are being redacted.
Would someone be able to explain the reason for this change? FamilySearch's collection has long been the only way to access these images without traveling to the archive in-person. Fortunately I am not in immediate need of the images, as I've mostly completed my research in this locality: however I would like the source material my research is based on to continue to be available for others.
If rights are being renegotiated, when will the contents of Item 6 become available again? I don't understand any reason for this change beyond privacy compliance: many other collections owned by the State Archive in Prešov have not changed, so I find it unlikely that rights were lost for a single collection with vital records for a village of less than 500 people.

@britton32 I have corrected the date range coverage for the contents of this film and that should take care of the problem. It will take a few weeks to update.
Thank you for reporting.

Hi again - thanks again for your help.
It appears that restrictions on Film 1792020 have been corrected. However, Film 1792021 Item #1 is still being redacted. This film is a continuation of Film 1792020, Item 6 and contains births from 1896 to 1902: deaths from 1886 to 1914: and marriages from 1886 to 1926.
Is it possible to remove the restrictions on Film 1792021 Item #1? There is still a significant amount of information not subject to privacy regulations being withheld for this location that was previously available - deaths from 1886 to 1914, births from 1896 to 1902, and marriages 1886-1925. There would be only 2 or 3 pages of the marriages from 1926 that may not meet the 100-year age requirement, depending on the day in this calendar year. This is a single-digit number of records.
If not, when would this information be made available again? January 2027?
Thank you for your help!

@britton32 This film was already divided and the date range for marriages were accurate as 1886-1926. However, the date range for baptisms was also shown as 1886-1926 and should have only been to 1902. I don't know what the guidelines are for marriage dates, but usually they are less than 100 years. Perhaps changing the baptism date range will be enough to remove the restriction.
