I am a stepmother and my husband and I do not have any biological children. In order to avoid his children appearing on my account, should I sign in with my Maiden name and not use my married name?

@JKilleen Signing in with your maiden name instead of your married name will not prevent your husband's children from appearing on your account. Your account name is simply an identifier for you as a user and does not control which family relationships are displayed in your tree. If the children are already listed under your name you can do a couple of things.

    1. You can change the relationship to Stepchildren if you want This can be done by clicking the pencil icon next to the child's name image.png

You can remove them completely by using the same as above but go to

This will remove the parents and or replace them with the father and mother.
