I am looking for someone to open and send me a microfilm image located on B1 of the library.
Microfilm 1275584 on B1 of the library should have Walworth County Wisconsin marriage records. The record is the marriage of George W Heath and Sarah Jane Wood dated 11 April 1858. It is not digital and lists online that it is on floor B1 there at the library. I specifically need the original image with the parents names listed for the groom and bride. I was hoping someone is in Salt Lake this week for RootsTech and could help me. My email is (email removed)
Thank you,
Kimberly Arnett

I am a Missionary at the St. George FamilySearch Center and an Instructor shared with me that FamilySearch is working on a process that would allow deceased persons to be merged with living persons. This topic came up when the question was asked, what happens when "John" dies and he is changed to deceased and the process goes forward as normal, BUT, is still listed as Living on many other person's Tree? If those other persons never change "John" to decease, there is not the opportunity to merge him with the "core" person that now has all his Memories, Vital Information, Temple Ordinances completed while he was alive, etc.
Sounded like a great process to me. 🙂

Not sure how to find comment by number (620173). Or, what is the title of the thread you are referring to? I cannot find it in my Post list. Thank you

For both of the links you posted, I am getting an error message:

You don't have permission to do that.

My question does not contain a link.

Both were working when I posted. With the problems the Community has been having, the threads may have been closed, moved, or redirected.

Do you have an answer to my question?

@Nyx773 and Áine.ní.Donnghaile, The linked post was moved this morning to the Temple category, which is not visible to most users. That explains the Permission error.
I don't know why an admin chose to move it there, since the content of that discussion is completely unrelated to the Temple category (this thread makes a brief mention of ordinances, but this thread is public and should be, yet that private thread doesn't mention ordinances — hmmm). I flagged that thread and suggested that it be moved back to public view. We'll see what happens….4 -
Thanks, @Alan E. Brown

I don't because that's not my field, but knowledgeable staff responded to your original question.

Good news -- the other thread has been moved back to the Family Tree category, so everyone should be able to see it again.

Yeah, finally found it by searching “merging living”. Thanks for all your help.

@Kimberly Arnett_1 - Do you have the PIDs for George and Sarah Jane? If so, please post them here.

The state of Wisconsin has some of the most restrictive regulations regarding online display of vital records. Even if we purchase a copy from the state, we are restricted from posting the image of that record online.

I thought the Community was almost over the issues, but I see this thread has been merged with something completely unrelated.

We are still experiencing network issues, and they have been reported and are being worked on. Thank you for your patience.
