I am trying to track down the death certificate of my great grandfather.
He was hungarian. He entered the USA in 1901 by ss. Graaf Waldersee. He was a miner somewhere in Ohio and died in the USA between 1901-1906. The cause of death was an accidental explosion in the boarding house. His name was Michael Doktor. He died with his brothers Joeph Doktor and Steven Doktor. I woul be grateful for any help.

Good afternoon, @EvaBorsosne Doktor
The state of Ohio instituted statewide registration of deaths in 1908, and general compliance was in effect by about 1911. In other words, there will likely not be a state death registration for Michael Doktor. Some cities/towns/counties may have had death records - more likely a line in a register than a certificate.
We might find a newspaper report of the explosion, but without a town/city, that may be difficult.
