Slovak films restricted despite legal availability
Several Slovak films (2006444, 2006445, 1739657) remain restricted online, even though all the records they contain appear to be legally available under Slovak archival regulations.
According to Slovak law, only records of living persons cannot be published online. This means that 100 years must have passed since the last birth entry in the register (or 75 years since the last marriage entry and 30 years since the last death entry).

Could these films please be reviewed and unlocked for online access? This will allow Slovak researchers to access historical genealogical records without unnecessary restrictions.

After carefully reviewing these films, I discovered several date errors that could be fixed. However, numerous Item #'s have accurate date ranges but remain restricted. Rights Management will need to reassess these cases to determine the reasons behind the restrictions. This could take several weeks but should be resolved. Thank you for reporting.
