Can anyone help me find information about the Ganeo family in Italy?

Hi everyone,

I’m new here and still learning how this site works. I’ll be traveling to Italy soon, and I would really love to learn more about my Italian roots. My family surname is Ganeo, but so far I’ve only been able to find very little information about my ancestors or where exactly they came from.

This trip is very meaningful to me, and I hope to reconnect with my family history. If anyone has information about the Ganeo family or knows where I could search or find possible relatives in Italy, I would truly appreciate your help.

Thank you so much.

Can you provide any deceased Ganeo in your family information as a starting point?

Example a personal identification number of someone decreased in your family you already found in family search next to name in format yyyy-yyy

Or state information of a deceased Geneo in your family tree with birth and death information?

    ---

To see a world map of where ancestors already linked on family tree are from

Online click 3 lines (menu) icon and click Activities and click Where am I from?

On app click 3 lines (menu) icon and click Map my ancestors

Hi! Thank you so much for taking the time to respond and help me. I truly appreciate it.

The only information I have so far comes from this small tree on FamilySearch:
    https://www.familysearch.org/pt/tree/pedigree/landscape/GFR1-LZ9

The most recently deceased person I found has the personal identification number GZPM-VSB.

I also know that many of my ancestors came from the Veneto region in Italy. I am trying to gather more information and better understand my origins.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@Nath477 You might try posting on the Italian Research Group for more information. I would also take a look at the FamilySearch Wiki page for Treviso, Veneto, Italy. Lots of good starting points.
