What ID is given or used when FamilySearch locks a newly deceased account?

Once FamilySearch is officially notified of a newly deceased person, and they add their Ordinances (that were completed while the deceased person was living), and make their Memories available, etc, what ID number do they use for the person?

Yes, since it's the same profile, it has the same ID.

And for anyone reading this, remember that this process only applies to a user's profile that is linked to their Church membership number, when the ward clerk marks their membership record as deceased.

@GalerGlennStephen The profile for the newly-deceased person — the one associated with their membership number that they used in their FamilySearch account during their life — is the one that becomes public. Since you mentioned "Ordinances," this is clearly in the context of a Church member whose death was reported by their ward clerk.

Yes, it will have their living ordinances added to their profile to become visible to other users with Church membership-linked accounts. Your comment about making Memories available is not really accurate. Nothing changes with the visibility of Memories contributed by a user when that user's account and associated profile are marked as deceased. What does change is that when the person profile is marked as deceased, then any Memory tags connected to that profile become public. That will make those Memories appear on that newly-public profile's Memories page, as long as the Memories themselves are public. That makes them easier to find, but doesn't change their visibility.

Thank you. For clarification: ID number associated with their own Profile, when they are living, is the same ID number that will be used when they are deceased?
