Can someone/anyone please check the information before it is accepted. In the last 2 days I have discovered that my grandfather fought in the Boer War while, according to your data, he was 2years old and then in WW1 as a16 year old with a 9 year old son and a 4 year old daughter.
This was my grandfather, Harry Pearson. Similarly his mother somehow managed to be born in Sheffield while her parents were in Portsmouth. Clara was born and bred in Sheffield.
Another person gave his grandfather as Mark, a name unknown in our branch of the Pearson Family. There are so many errors that what was formerly a great source of information can no longer be trusted or used.

@BarbaraGawith, you need to be more specific if you are asking for help:
~ To whom are you referring when you write "your data"?
~ Specify Harry Pearson's FamilySearch ID.
~ "Sheffield" where? "Portsmouth" where?
~ Is "Mark" a surname?

The FamilySearch tree is a collaborative project, fully open-edit. It's not FamilySearch's data but the information supplied by other users who contribute to the tree. You can contact other users by clicking on their display name to open a chat dialog.
Hope this helps.3 -
If this is about Harry Pearson 1885-1957
https://www.familysearch.org/en/tree/person/GSRR-7MB
Harry's date of birth of "about 1898" was never updated to match later connected sources of 11 March 1885
Harry's father is Robert Pearson married to a Clara with a son Robert ... which unfortunately got confused in source linking with a different Robert Pearson married to a different Clara with a different son Robert
So went source by source matching mostly using key difference of Harry's correct family sources being mostly Sheffield, Yorkshire, England, United Kingdom sources
Robert Pearson of Sheffield

Clara Mathews of Sheffield

Cleaned up including children and parents from
Robert Pearson of Forcett

Clara Sadler of Portsmouth

Hopefully was able to help
