Community: The "Ask a question" button has disappeared from the list of discussions

If I select the Ask a question button on the banner at the top of most community pages, I get to select a category for the question. After having done that, I see a list of the recent discussions in that category. There used to be a button on that page to actually start a new discussion; that button is no longer there.

To start this present discussion, I had to open some random discussion from My Bookmarks and open a new discussion from there.

    The Home button is showing 'No discussions were found', too. I'm having to use my Recent Discussions bookmark to find any threads. Also, if I go to Ask a Question and click on any of the category buttons I get a weird list of threads which appear to be Announcements from across Community, including my Groups. Looks like the thread filtering Vanilla is doing has gone wild.

    Edit-Recent Discussions also seems to be including Group stuff at present.

    @Sam Sulser

    Agree with @MandyShaw1 's observations. Would be grateful if you could investigate what's gone wrong and arrange for everything to get back to "normal"!

    There were apparently some changes to Community search and other functions.

    For example, if I open the Search category, to look for a specific recent question, questions from a variety of groups are displayed.

    These issues have all been reported and are currently being reviewed. Thank you again for always being on the lookout for issues affecting FS.

    We think all of the random issues have been fixed. Please let us know if you see anything else awry. Good times, right? Sam 🙃
