Changing Incorrect Ancestors in Family Tree
Hello, my name is Trent and I am new to Family Search. I have a question on how to change incorrect people in my tree. I have verified my actual ancestor vis DNA from Ancestry, but Family Search has a different person. Thank you for any assistance.

Good morning @Trent674 and welcome to FamilySearch.
The FamilySearch tree is fully open-edit and collaborative. The information on your ancestor was most likely supplied by another contributor to the tree.
If you look in the Change Log for your ancestor, down the right-hand side of the page, you'll see the name of the contributor(s) who added the information.
"Show All" will open the full list of changes. When you click on any user's display name, you can open a chat window to discuss any questions you may have. Not everyone replies; not everyone is still active.
This Help Article has instructions on how to make changes should you wish to do so. https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-correct-parent-child-relationships-in-family-tree If you need help getting started, please supply the identifying details of your ancestor's profile, and we can try to help. You'll want to be sure that you are working on the profile of your ancestor and not someone with a similar name who lived about the same time. The FamilySearch tree is enormous, and there are many people with the same name.
Hope this helps!

Also, keep in mind that Family Tree allows multiple sets of parents.
It you, for example, have found that a grandfather who was the father the of his family in every way but biological was not the DNA contributor and you have discovered who was, then you should still leave him as the father and simply add a second set of parents marked as the biological parents. Family is more than DNA.
And don’t forget that DNA testing can be wrong or that back more than just a few generations can be subject to multiple interpretations.

Parents relationships allowed:
Biological, Adoption, Foster, Guardianship, Step
DNA falls in Biological category.

Familysearch follows records. It is quite possible that this person is not the one in the records and will need to be fixed to separate him from the one the records belong to. If the records belong to this person but his DNA parentage is different then a 2nd set of parents can be added. Not all adopted or otherwise aquired children were aware of this situation. You might benefit from another look at the situation, by you and others, to determine which path you should take.
