1939 England and Wales still MIA but hinting

This thread, from almost exactly one year ago, is now closed:

This morning, I received a hint from the 1939 E&W Register for a GG uncle. It has been dismissed, but I can't even see it.

The index is still MIA:

I know the record pertains to this Michael McGarrity. I have it attached as an external source and have viewed it on both Ancestry and FindMyPast.

Is there any news on the status? If non-LDS contributors can't view even the index/extract from the collection, then receiving hints from it is a bad tease.
Thanks.

@Áine.ní.Donnghaile I am also unable to see 1939 England and Wales National Register. I will pass this along to those higher in the chain and see if anything has been resolved since the last time it was brought up.

@Áine.ní.Donnghaile said re the 1939 Register,

Agreed. Let me be clear what I'm objecting to. I don't ask for visibility to the images or the index - I understand that stuff can be restricted. I do object to there being hints for a collection that has a collection page but the collection doesn't appear in "Browse All Collections". That simply shouldn't happen. It would be perfectly acceptable to see that page saying "Index not accessible to your type of user. Images accessible on FindMyPast". As it is, the lack of visibility looks like an error. Gives us a clue, please!

The Wiki entry for this collection doesn't mention who can see what, despite it presumably being a simple statement. Again, this is surely one of the most obvious uses for the Wiki page?

I probably sound like a broken record on this but in too many cases, intended lack of access / visibility looks just the same as an error… That does not reflect fairly on FamilySearch and wastes the time of FS researchers and the mods in the Community.

To add insult to injury, I recently had a DQS error on this same profile for the same record. As I mentioned, I have the 1939 E/W Register attached as an external source.
    The DQS tells me:

And then I got the hint today.

A couple of errors on this one:

    1. These records are accessible with an LDS account, but it appears there is no way to search the collection.
    2. The system should be blocking record hints to accounts without access.

I will bring this to the attention of engineers. I thought they made adjustments with Record Hints but apparently some invalid entries are still slipping through. Thanks for keeping us on our toes!

    Thank you @SerraNola
Could you possibly attach that one to Uncle Michael McGarrity K4FG-HB6? It's been dismissed, but it is definitely his record.

    Thanks again.

    Thanks again @SerraNola
Now that you have attached it, the index is visible in Michael's sources, and the link goes to the record on FindMyPast.
