indexing mistakes in non editable records
Indexing for:
"Italia, Campobasso, Stato Civile (Archivio di Stato), 1809-1918", FamilySearch (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XQNX-RQFW : Mon Nov 10 21:08:22 UTC 2025), Entry for Eugenio Finizia and Emiddio Finizia, 6 Mar 1854.
is wrong:
the person indexed is not the groom but it's legal representative and therefore all names and relationship are mixed up
but the record is not editable.
what can I do?

I can make these corrections if you will verify the spelling. I have:
Groom: Giovanni Pasquale Antonio Tedeschi
Parents: Emiddio Tedeschi and Mariantonia Salvatore
Bride: Maria Clementina Capone
Parents: Rocco Pasquale Capone and Emanuela Finizia
Are these accurate?

When the image is not linked to the index/extract, we users cannot edit the index because it would be impossible to verify if the error is in the index or in the original image.
You can put notes on the profile(s) when you attach the index, explaining what you've uncovered.

Why? It is perfectly possible as the image IS available, though on a different web site…
That is how I got aware that the record is completely messed up, by the way

Yes, it's available on other websites, but it is not linked to the index on THIS website. Rules of the site.
It's the same on FindMyPast - if there is no linked image, we cannot submit an edit to the extract.

Yes, very accurate!
Go ahead with changes if you can.
