    With your recent software changes:

    My grandfather Michael T. Nealis wife has changed. His first wife Mary Underwood now appears in the tree, she died in 1911 and is shown as my grandmother or parent of my father who was born in 1919. The correct grandmother in the tree should be Bridget Ellen Farrell. If possible you can show both wives but Bridget should be senior to my father William Valentine Nealis. I have gone to both Mary and Bridget's records and changed the, □ preferred view to Bridget but nothing changed. It is very difficult to maneuver in your new software, nothing seems to be intuitive.

    @wNealis
    Based on your description, it seems your grandfather is this profile: https://www.familysearch.org/en/tree/person/details/96WN-L8Y

    @wNealis Your father's profile shows that he has two parent relationships:

    • One is with his father Michael and biological mother Bridget. That relationship was created in September 2024.
    • The second one is with his father Michael and Michael's first wife Mary. That relationship was created in July 2025. That was done by a proxy user "TreeBuilding Project" who (or which?) is known to this community. See this marathon discussion (be advised, it currently has 11 pages of comments). There is little point in contacting that user.

    The same applies to your aunt Ann and uncle John.

    With regard to Mary's children (Mary x 2, James and Michael Francis), they were added erroneously as children of Bridget and Michael by another user in September 2024. This was apparently caused by a merge of two profiles for the father Michael.
