Simple Search Experiment feedback
Hello, I've had very good success in locating previously unknown or unavailable records through the use of Simple Search. The one aspect that is a bit frustrating is the same reference appearing in the search findings, either in succession or in between other record findings which is somewhat duplicative and time-consuming to wade through. Other than that, the speed of producing search results is fantastic and the array of available records is very good. Thank you for adding this terrific tool.

I, too, have had great finds using Full-Text Search.
There is a dedicated group for Feedback -1 -
I am very frustrated that instructions I give in the prompt to exclude all records except say a certain county are ignored - ability to control exclusion is as important as inclusion

There is a dedicated Simple Search Feedback channel that engineers are following closely, as they always do with new products. It's the best place to get your suggestions heard!

I completely agree with this. None of the FS search capabilities allow you to 'omit', only to 'select'.
If you want to make this point to the engineers, the official route is to Suggest an Idea. (Be careful to keep a local copy of any Idea you suggest, since you won't have access to it once you have submitted it.)
In this particular case it may also be worth posting the point on the Simple Search Feedback channel @SerraNola suggested.
