Inaccessible records: Scotland, Births and Baptisms, 1564-1950
Thomas Mather (GDJ2-HXB) has a hint from the Scotland, Births and Baptisms, 1564-1950 collection. Selecting that hint results in an error message "We're unable to show this record.

The record relates to a Thomas Maitlan (sic), his wife Ann Smith and son Robert Maitlan (sic). Thomas has three sources from this collection for other children; they were attached on November 7, 2014 (x2) and January 3 2022. The collection citation is currently 'Scotland, Births and Baptisms, 1564-1950." Database. FamilySearch. http://FamilySearch.org : 27 December 2025. Index based upon data collected by the Genealogical Society of Utah, Salt Lake City.'

If I recall correctly, images from Scotland Births and Baptisms have always been restricted to view at a FSC or AL. If you don't have one nearby, I can put that record on my list for my next visit - probably one day next week.

@JulianBrown38 It appears we have lost the records for Carluke and it is being investigated. Images are still available at a FSC.

@Áine.ní.Donnghaile Thank you for your kind offer, Fortunately, I have a FSC about 10 minutes drive away, albeit it is open only 6 hours a week. I also have an AL which is even closer with much longer opening hours. In this case, I wasn't concerned to see the image, but I am not able see even the index data because of the error. All I can see is the relationship information that is displayed when I SHOW ALL Research Help.
