Starting your family tree doesn’t require special knowledge or research skills—just begin with what you know. Add yourself first, then enter details about your parents, grandparents, and other relatives you’re familiar with. As you go, FamilySearch will gently guide you with prompts, hints, and record suggestions to help you take the next steps.
Think of it as a conversation with your past: you start by sharing what you already know, and the system helps you discover what comes next.
You can start here: https://www.familysearch.org/en/family-tree/
Mod note: Because Community is an online public forum, it can be viewed by anyone, anywhere. To protect the privacy of a living person, your post was edited to hide your name.
Please see the Community Code of Conduct for more details.

@ShelleWells I think you need to modify your reply with the words "Perhaps", or "hopefully".
Depending where the family of @Hussen46 comes from, and the religion of the family, there may be no records at all on FamilySearch.

Another place to find help in FamilySearch is in the banner across the top of the site. Once you have FamilySearch pulled up, look across the top of the banner and over on the right hand side, you will see a few icons, including a circle with a question mark. This is the help button. When you touch this button the drop down menu includes articles and lessons, help getting started and suggested topics. You can search topics and learn about how to get your family history started. I hope you find the help you need to get started!!
