can i add a find a grave photo to sources in a person on my tree?

    The copyright for the photo belongs to the person who took the photo. Some Findagravers are fine with others using their photos and say so on their Findagrave profile. Be sure to check the profile of the contributor who uploaded the photo originally.

    It seems to me that a link in Family Tree Sources to the findagave memorial for an individual profile should be sufficient without adding photos or additional sources which ends up being a duplication. just sayin' … (but I know not everyone agrees with this) DL Melville

    A cousin adds phone screenshots of EVERY memorial from findagrave.com. Drives me a bit nuts.

    @Barbara10745 I agree that a link to the Findagrave memorial is sufficient. However, after checking the photo's copyright on Findagrave, if permission is granted, you could copy and paste the photo into your ancestor's memories.
