Church Records / SLC
Hi there,
We went to our local family history center and was given a few phone numbers. After speaking with the church operator, global services and familysearch missionary..
I believe our answers may be in a microfilm at the library. Is this something that I could schedule online to get help with?
We are looking for any record information about a baptism and confirmation... wanting to know who baptized and who confirmed and where?
Name: Robert Jonas Hyita
ID: KW8E-95G
Birth: May 2, 1932
Death: May 24, 1987
Baptism Date: March 23, 1947
Confirmation Date: Jan 3, 1960
film number: 884178
https://www.familysearch.org/en/search/catalog/koha:15706
dgs: 8575819
We aren't local and wanted to see if there was someone there that would be able to look up this film number and dgs to see if the information we need is available.
Thanks

@Samantha J Hyita I moved your discussion out of the Temple category, which has limited visibility for discussions over to the General category in hopes it will reach more people. You may try looking to hire a local genealogist or other help to go and see if they can get the information you need. I am not recommending any, but have heard Cyndi's list does this type of thing. You can find others on your favorite Web Search product.
I believe you can contact the FamilySearch library at:

In fact, Cyndi's List doesn't do this type of thing.
Cyndi's List provides lists of resources and services. The section covering Utah-based researchers: https://www.cyndislist.com/us/ut/professionals/
The Main Library in Salt Lake has ended its look-up service, which was made available during the time the library and centers were closed due to the pandemic.
