Belize Marriage Records 1919-1927 Indexing Errors
Hello,
I want to notify the community that there are some errors in the indexing of the Belize Marriages (All districts) 1919-1927, film # 007784557, affecting Item 1 only. Specifically the pairing of the father's name to the marrying couples. The catalog webpage for this film does states that the film is "not in strict chronological order." However it is because of the this that whenever the dates goes out of sequence, there is a mis-pairing of father to child in the marriage records.
I have identified the images in the film where the marrying couple's names (left side of image) does not match the father's name (right side of image), and matched it with the correct image number in the film where their real father's name is located.

I have corrected a couple of trees which relied on the indexing of these images. Perhaps the FS team responsible for this film can correct it in some way.

@NormCain It seems evident that the page mismatching occurred before the FamilySearch digitization, originating from the original books that were microfilmed. Fixing this would require re-ordering pages at the Belize archive and sending a camera crew, which is unlikely to happen. Your work provides a helpful key for researchers to locate and attach both images accurately. I hope we can find an effective way to make your information easily accessible. Thank you for your valuable contributions!
