Am I truly a descendant of these lineages?
Hello, my mother is of Maltese origin; her name is Cilia. I went to the Maltese Genealogy website and saw that I descend from the Kalbid dynasty. By going to other sites like Geneanet or Geniworld, I was able to trace my lineage even further back, and this time it was the caliphs of Damascus and also Uthman, the third Caliph of Islam. Of course, he came from the female side, but when I ask the AI, it tells me that nothing is proven, even though several sites have the same family trees.

Genealogy without documentation is mythology.
Are any records attached to these trees? That would be proof. If there are no sources, then AI was correct in stating "nothing is proven".
The problem with many (most?) online trees is that anyone can input any data they wish. Garbage In = Garbage Out. Unless they attach a source document or cite a credible source, then there is no proof what they wrote is true. It could all be a fairly tale.
Another problem is that people copy other trees, resulting in multiple copies of the same undocumented lineage. More Garbage In = More Garbage Out. And unfortunately, those imaginary names and dates have made their way over to FamilySearch.
My supposed family tree on FS stretches back to the 1300s. But I can only find documentation that proves it to the 1700s (for one small branch).
The only way to know for sure is to start with your most recent deceased ancestors and find proof of their parentage. Then find proof of their parents' parentage, and so on.

On maltagenealogy there is one of my ancestors and his wife, they are listed among the descendants of the Kalbids (of Prince Habeir)

@Antoine3156 but does maltagenealogy point you at primary source(s) that can verify the lineage it publishes?
