The Beta site certainly still exists, and it works fine for me. I was able to sign in, view a tree, view person pages, and update a profile. Everything worked as expected.

    Thanks.
Wonder why Church Members who have accessed it in past & are active in FamilySearch, now get:

    What did they do wrong?
[ Why should they have to contact Support? ]

A FamilySearch account on Beta is distinct from an account on the Production website. So it is possible for a Beta account to be suspended, independent of the account status on Production.

I have no idea why this might have happened to some people (it's clearly just a small sunset of people, since I know lots of Church members who access Beta with no difficulty).

For mysterious account issues, the advice to contact Support is helpful. Support technicians have tools for examining and troubleshooting account issues that are unavailable to regular users.

We know that the BETA FamilySearch site is separate from the Production site.
Many have not accessed the BETA FamilySearch site for some time; but, for some it was not so long ago.
Hope someone from FamilySearch can respond and shed some light on the situation.
    Thank again.

I have flagged this for mod input re identifying the root cause. I would suggest the users concerned call Support re their individual beta accounts, though.

The answer I received from Support, in mid-December, regarding a "Suspended" notice on Beta:

There are known issues with Beta, and we encourage you to try to sign in again at the end of January.

    Thanks.
That is why we check here first, rather that trying Support.
So for some it works and for others it does not.
Nice to know that we are not the only ones.

I have reported this up the line. Hoping we can get an answer soon. However, knowing it is a BETA site, it can be up, down, or intermittent without any notice or reason that we can see.

There are still issues with Beta. @Jenny.B can you message me privately any usernames you know of that are still getting the suspended message? Also, if anyone happens to know the last time they successfully logged into Beta, that would be extremely helpful as they troubleshoot this issue.

I was given the impression that the Beta would not work for those getting the message until the next Beta refresh.

    @Sam Sulser
    Sorry.
Those that have used the BETA site in the past cannot recall when or how long ago.
We tried those that had not used the BETA site before - they got the same.
