Hello, I need assistance merging two duplicate records in Family Tree.

The two Person IDs are:

  • KWRY‑S5X
  • LX43‑81L (read‑only)

These two profiles represent the same individual. They share the same name, birth information, and family relationships. KWRY‑S5X appears to be a user-created duplicate of the authoritative read-only record LX43‑81L.

When I attempt to merge them, the system displays the message: “This person has conditions that prohibit changes.”

Because LX43‑81L is locked, I cannot perform the merge myself. Could you please review these two records and merge them if appropriate?

Additional notes:

• Both records list the same parents.

• Both records list the same spouse and children.

• The vital dates and locations match.

• There is no conflicting information that would indicate they are different individuals.

I appreciate your help.

@MikeMangakahia If you use the Flag button under your post, that will alert a Mod who can have someone with the proper permissions merge the two profiles.

    Hope this helps.
