Restricted Records

I am struggling to figure out from reading the forums if I can access restricted images at FamilySearch sites or if this restriction is universal.

And what is the date cut off? 100 years, 110 years? And is it for all records or just certain locations?

It depends on the specific record and the location, @unknown12345678.
Not all countries - or even all states in the USA - have the same privacy regulations. And FamilySearch has individual contracts with the various record holders.

004519888 contains birth records from Jamaica.
This thread may be helpful, explaining some recent changes to access for Jamaica.

    Hope this helps!
