Why can't I fix this parent/child relationship?

This is What John Vibard's person page looks like it shows multiple sets of parents but they are all the same people. I have tried but I haven't figured out how to correct it. Please help.

    If you go click on the Edit Pencil to the left of the child John, you can then 'remove' him from the broken parent set. Note that both the independent parents are the same Person ID's as the couple parents, so all is well and the linkage remains, but with the parents as a proper couple.

    Bonus: If you click on Ancestry under the 'Search Records' tab — you'll likely find John on the 1790 & 1800 census, as well as more Revolutionary solder rolls.
