Please help with the words highlighted in yellow. He was in the 98th regiment of Foot and I found the rank Colour Sergeant. Could this be the highlighted text?

Thank you

@ChrisPetersen. You are correct in your assumptions. I believe the first one is an abbreviation for Color (Colour) Sgt (Sergeant) and the second one is 98th Regt (Regiment) meaning 98th Regiment of Foot.

I think a Colour Sergeant is a senior Sergeant.
