House Number
After reviewing the land records for Triesch, Moravia (now Třešť), it appears that Wenzl Proschinger owned several properties in the area — I counted around fifteen in total. Here are links to a few of the records:
From examining the cadastral maps, I can see Wenzl’s name listed on multiple plots. He was both a landowner and a Tuchmachermeister (master cloth maker). His property is associated with House No. 178, which I believe corresponds to this house in Třešť:

As I understand it, the red number indicates the building’s street address within the town, while the blue number (178 in this case) represents the cadastral or land registry number used for taxation and ownership records. Given this information, is it reasonable to assume that this was the house where my ancestor, Wenzl Proschinger — born in 1806 and who emigrated in 1854 after selling his property — once lived?

House numbers can change sometimes. I have only used the maps once or twice. Have you seen this article on Czech Genealogy for Beginners: http://czechgenealogy.nase-koreny.cz/2014/08/stabile-cadaster-maps-part-ii.html#more
