I was wondering if any work is being done to obtain scanned records for the Canary Islands, Spain. I had been told some time ago, that Family Search was working on obtaining these records but no information available as of yet. This seems to be one of the areas of Spain where the records are not available.

@GerrySorondo This Community is mostly composed of users, like you and me, who have no knowledge of what FamilySearch may be working on. Pending contracts with record holders are not disclosed.
You can Flag your post (the button just under your post) and hope that a mod or staff member may have some information they can share.

    Hope this helps.

    Search Historical Images - https://www.familysearch.org/en/records/images/

The Canary Islands have over 200 collections.

@GerrySorondo Unfortunately, the metadata is inaccurate and most, if not all the search results in Images are not Canary Islands. Sorry..,….
