Dead family search link question
In 2023 I received a family search email about a story (memory) that had been posted to one of my ancestors. It had lots of interesting details about how the family navigated life in Sweden, their trip to America and how they wound up on Fountain Green. As I read through the story, I thought this is way cool and I'd like to visit those locations someday.
Well, someday arrived, I went to the email to retrieve that information but none of the FS links in the email work now. All I get is a Page not found error.
Link Example:
https://mk.familysearch.org/dc/i7ty6FxJ-ECXzbUVFdhD1VCzz3XYozBdQqfts8Y5T9X9XXwp4V5MWeOSXYAPiZFWMx2wbcSloBfC2T8fdedFb1A1PeZhvyqQ5MFFt6TYUAp6MtSdKO6V_IJkFMp6Kl-H/NTkwLUJVSy03MjYAAAGOZdl5f0txSL4OrJaNx748Ax-WAfCi3j4JnXjcwWqCGwVYc3Cb1WIg_OCcEqNWTHE18_A3Wt8=
In a previous life I made a living in IT/Websites and mk.familysearch.org means there was a subdomain on the familysearch.org site that served up content like the link above. I tried researching but couldn't find any info about a mk subdomain on familysearch.org. which is strange.
I know this is a WAY long shot but I've tried everything I can think of. Anyone have any idea where all the mk stuff went to?
Or know someone that might?
Thanks

@AmberML1 Could you help the OP please?

That link was likely from a specific campaign/promotion.

If this was a story that another user wrote up and posted on profiles, it should still be tagged to those profiles. Have you checked under the Memories tabs for the people in your family the story was talking about?
If this was a story another user posted then removed for some reason, then it is gone.
If this was a computer generated biography, then you might find something very similar to it on those individuals on their About tabs.

I also agree with @Gordon Collett….your best bet would be to search for that ancestor in the FamilySearch tree, then look through the Memories attached to that person.
