Is there a quick fix for ordinance card printing issues?
Some people have had printing issues at the Center when printing their ordinance cards - jumbled letters, no letter "r", etc. I've been told that the QR code is correct, but of course they would like the entire card to be correct. I know this has been a known problem… it doesn't show up very often, but I'd like to train workers with a fix? Ideas that have worked?

It is a known issue with the Lexmark 632 printer. Yes, the QR code does work. One of our techs may wish to add more information, but the last I heard LM had not resolved the issue.

I just called in about this yesterday and the workaround provided was to find the "print as image" check box in the more/advanced settings of the print dialog and check it before printing the cards. This appears to work, but the checkbox is buried a bit.

Does this help?
Patrons need to go into "More Settings" under the print options, and click the box: "Print as image". (See attached image.)
