Parish records for Letnia (parish Medenice) 1826–1888
Hello,
I am looking for parish records from the village of Letnia (today in Ukraine, formerly Galicia), which belonged to the Roman Catholic parish of Medenice.
According to archival inventories, the records for the years 1826–1888 are preserved in the Archdiocesan Archive in Przemyśl (Archiwum Archidiecezjalne w Przemyślu, Poland).
My question is:
- Has anyone here worked with these records?
- Are they available anywhere online (digitized)?
- Or does anyone perhaps have personal copies/scans of the Letnia/Medenice registers from 1826–1888?
Any help or guidance would be very much appreciated!
Thank you in advance.

Good morning @Vasyl708
FamilySearch catalog shows the Roman Catholic parish register of birth and marriages for Medenice, 1836-1882, available to view at FamilySearch Centers and Affiliate Libraries.

Hope this helps.

Unfortunately I don't have the opportunity to visit the library. Maybe someone has a download of the recording.

@Vasyl708 A friend reminded me of this option for finding records from Ukraine. https://larasgenealogy.blogspot.com/2025/09/ukrainan-online-records-use-duck.html

I know about this search engine. There are no such books in Ukraine. I need to find a record of my ancestor's birth in 1830 and marriage in 1850.

@Vasyl708 Have you looked at the FamilySearch Wiki for other online resources? https://www.familysearch.org/en/wiki/Ukraine_Online_Genealogy_Records
Or considered joining the Ukraine Community Group? They may be able to help.
