Surname question
I am researching the Polish name Stypa (Theresa Steppa in the U.S.) On her Connecticut social security application form it lists her parents as Jacob & Justina Steppa. I used the Pomeranian Genealogical Association and the Poznan Project and found only one Jacob Stypa and Justina née Hildebrand in Gross Butzig or Wielki Buczek.

The link to there marriage record in 1867.
I found the Stypa name elsewhere in Poland but never a Jacob & Justina together.
Am I on the right track? I don’t have any other information about whereTheresa was born, she was born November 22, 1875 and the birth records for Wielki Buczek end in 1874.
Thank you for you help. I wish I had more to go on.
