How do I change to my maiden name?
Under Family Tree Preferences. Family Tree Starting Person. There is an edit button, but it won't let me change my name. How do I change to my maiden name? Thank you for any help.

You can change your Name and Contact ID from FamilySearch (not from here in the Community). Go to Settings and select the Profile tab. There you can change those items among other things. There is information on this in the Help article About the FamilySearch Profile.
The Family Tree Preferences that you referred to a different thing. It just allows you to choose which person is the starting person in Family Tree. There is some information about that in How do I change or troubleshoot the starting person in Family Tree?.
