Can I get the second line on the left page translated? I believe this is a baptismal record for "lorentz" and I can not read the parents names. Thanks!

What male surname are you searching for? The parents are in the first column, The father's given name is Larentz (Not sure of the surname) (Led Fuss ?), Kuchmacher=cake maker and the mother is Elisabeth (no surname)

was looking for the surname “Husslig”. This would be about the correct time frame for Lorentz Husslig based on his death.

I see Fuss as the surname. The word after that is hypenated and means Cake Maker.

I agree that this is not Husslig. I also read Ledfuss (led = leather, fuss = foot), maybe the surname derived from a profession (kind of shoemaker).

The question is whether surnames were stable at that time. This surname could be perceived as abusive and replaced by Husslig. But it is just a wild hypothesis.

thank you for this verification. I have found older Hussligs in the area (dating to 1597), so I think it was established in the area. Just missing data for his baptism to definitely link older Hussligs (https://aron.vychodoceskearchivy.cz/apu/16fc4e91-7793-450b-8544-04896dce8d78/dao/16fc4e91-7793-450b-8544-04896dce8d78/file/b8308724-6bff-4340-bb6e-6e975a9aa3f9)

the above link ends in the 1630s. So there is a period of about 50 years that I am struggling with. The “Lorentz ledfuss” link would have been about the right time for his birth. But I am fairly confident that the Husslig name was established already.
