Schaffhausen SH - Geschlechtsregister - Oechslin #90 Johann Martin &Behr &Büchi &Winz
Schaffhausen ZH- Geschlechtsregister- Oechslin, Behr, Buchi, Wenz
The “Geschlechtsregister der Stadt Schaffhausen” from Hans Wilhelm Harder (1810–1872) have a lot of information about families from Schaffhausen.
One section is of the Oechlin family: http://www.stadtarchiv-schaffhausen.ch/online_archivp/daten/bildgross/350865.pdf
Page 90 of that document is this screenshot above. Can I please have this page translated? All information could be helpful.
Thank you!

A quick short response first:
I assume the "ZH" is a typo - should be "Schaffhausen SH" as Schaffhausen is not canton Zürich, but a canton of its own.
We have discussed Oechslin of Schaffhausen and the Bartenschlager-Harder register before - see Oechslin von Schaffhausen SH. You wrote you had registered with the Geneal-Forum: I hope this worked; if registered (and logged in) you could "subscribe" to this topic (if not done so yet) and will then be automatically notified whenever a new contribution is posted.
I assume you are familiar by now with the system of these two registers - if you still have questions about the system, just let me know.
I am planning to summarize the information of this page on Geneal-Forum - so a wider audience will (hopefully) profit from that - but give me some time for this.

Thank you @WSeelentag
I appreciate you teaching me about how to write the title of posts. I based the title off of our previous conversation, which was from Zürich. I thought the ZH was for Germany not the Canton. I see now that this was incorrect. I appreciate your patience with me.
I definitely need repetition! Thank you for reminding me of the resources. I didn't realize from our previous conversation that the link to the Bartenschlager-Harder register was listed near the names. I was reintroduced to the resources recently and finally figured it out. What am incredible treasure trove! I think I understand how to navigate it (while any tips would be welcomed), it's mostly my lack of knowing the German language and the old cursive that make it challenging to fully utilize. I appreciate your willingness to summarize the information.
It has been awhile since I've used the Geneal-Forum. I think repetition is going to be a valuable teacher for me again. I did have to submit for a password reset since it's been awhile. I haven't received the email with the link (I have checked spam).
I'm excited to keep learning about these families! Thanks for your knowledge that makes this possible for me!

Thank you for giving the topics meaningful titles! I nevertheless have for this special situation decided to edit them in order to identify the family numbers in the title.
As far as SH, ZH, … are concerned: all Swiss cantons have two-letter abbreviations, e.g. used on car number plates. ZH stands for Zürich, SH stands for Schaffhausen. These abbreviations are that common in everyday life that if people want to name a canton, often just this abbreviation is used.
I had posted Some comments on the Bartenschlager and Bartenschlager-Harder Geschlechtsregister on the forum: you should have received an email if you had subscribed - if not, I recommend you subscribe now. If you have questions on this text, don't hesitate to ask.
BTW - you don't have to reset your password of you haven't logged in for awhile - you just have to remember it 😉.

Thank you for doing all this work!
I still haven't received the email to reset my password. I can't subscribe yet, but will as soon as that goes through.

Step by step - what have you done?
If you have forgotten your password, you can have a new password sent - to the address you are registered with! Do you remember this address and are sure this is still valid?
What is your alias? I could then check what your status is.
