It looks like you have John's life in America fairly well documented. I would start by comparing all those different records to get a better feel for where he was born. Many of them disagree with each other.
Finding John's immigration and naturalization records could help you identify the correct birthplace. If the information was recorded correctly, John naturalized sometime between 1920 and 1930. (This is found in the immigration codes of the 1920 and 1930 US censuses). I looked in Full text search, but did not find any naturalization documents for him. But look again, because it might be that I didn't plug in the right search terms. You could also check the catalog for immigration records in Illinois and Indiana.
I see that you have a father attached to John's profile. I'm not seeing the sources that point to this being the correct father, but I did not go through every source. You could search out the other children of Joannes Vadas. Find out who they were and where they went. If they immigrated close to where John lived that would give you some indirect evidence that this may be the right family. Plus, it could give you the name of Joannes' wife, who might be John's mother.
If you need help with reading the Hungarian records, you could try posting in the Austro-Hungarian Research group.

This part of the family is so confusing when the Father, son, and grandfather are all Joannes/ John honestly it makes me want to tear my hair out. I will keep looking and see what I can find. Thank you.

Step 1: To begin tracing the origins of the Vadas family, it’s important to note that the earliest record appears under the name “Janos Vadasz”. Using this original form of the name in your searches—especially in historical or immigration records—can help you find more accurate and relevant information.
add the USA name under Alternative names… Change the name to the first known record.
Good luck0
